Role Description
Nevada General Construction is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team and be responsible for the overall management of projects from preconstruction through construction completion, including document and cost control, scheduling, estimating assistance, and safety adherence, to complete projects within budget, on schedule, and to the Company’s quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire preconstruction process from estimating the project, subcontract award and submittals, QC through construction to closeout including all costing, schedules and meetings.
- Manage support staff, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Interface with clients and architects as required to maintain positive company relations. Scope review and proposal presentation to clients.
- Manage construction project budgets and cost controls.
- Subcontractor qualification and selection for bidding and awarding work.
- Manage multiple projects and completion dates. Lead construction field teams to successful on-time project completion.
Qualifications
- Strong computer, verbal presentation and writing skills.
- Minimum of 4 years working as a Construction Project Manager for a Commercial General Contractor.
- Experience with managing construction projects (Ground Up & TI’s) with medical, commercial and educational experience preferred.
- Las Vegas valley experience preferred.
- Please include a list of the last 5 projects completed. Include sq footage, dollar value, delivery type, and type of building i.e.: ground up, tenant improvement etc.
- Include two references.
- Experience with Vista and Project Sight preferred.
