Full time maintenance/grounds/custodial position
Approximate July 27th start date.
Hourly 12-month contract with pay based on qualifications. (Range: $18-$22/Hour)
Reports directly to the Director of Buildings and Grounds.
Position open until filled.
Desired qualifications:
Demonstrates a positive attitude, loyalty, cooperation, teamwork, attendance and safety.
Maintains a good public relations with students, parents, faculty, and community.
Ability to work with interruptions frequently during a work shift.
Ability to follow directions as well as work independently within the framework of the school environment.
Flexible work schedule based on school need.
Willingness to substitute for other employees.
Ability to fulfill the physical and mental requirements of the job.
Knowledge of Green custodial practices.
Knowledge and ability of building maintenance and of grounds keeper duties.
Ability to work in all 4 Iowa seasons in grounds maintenance as well as inside assignments.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment as needed.
Within 6 months of hire willingness to obtain:
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to pass background, child abuse and sex offender checks.
HS Diploma

- Iowa Commercial Pesticide Applicator License .
- 7A General and Household Pest Management Certification.
- 3OT Ornamental and Turfgrass Pest Management Certification.
- CDL/Commercial Driver License with passenger endorsement.
