Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist I is an entry-level role responsible for providing first-level technical support to Precision IO Group employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues, and ensuring a smooth and reliable technology experience across the organization.
This role sets up, configures, and deploys IT equipment, supports Microsoft 365 applications, assists with account and access management, and helps maintain accurate IT asset records and knowledge base documentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career IT professional to build foundational skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a collaborative IT team supporting a fast-growing medical technology company.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues for employees.
- Respond to help desk tickets, troubleshoot common technical problems, and escalate more complex issues when appropriate.
- Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access management in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures to maintain an accurate knowledge base.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing equipment, provisioning accounts, and recovering company assets.
- Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, updates, and inventory tracking.
- Help maintain IT asset records and ensure equipment is properly documented and assigned.
- Collaborate with senior IT team members to learn new technologies and support infrastructure improvement initiatives.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service while building strong relationships with employees across the organization.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge through training, mentoring, and hands-on experience.
Education, Experience & Skills
- 0–2 years of IT experience; recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- Internship or help desk experience preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS, Microsoft 365 applications, and Active Directory user administration; strong customer service and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (e.g., desktops, monitors, printers) up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout office environments for extended periods while providing on-site technical support.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, and working at a computer workstation for extended periods.

- Up to 5–10% travel required (domestic/international as applicable)
