Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Director of Engineering to lead our engineering team at Neuvotion’s office in the New York City Metropolitan Area. In this on-site role, you will oversee engineering operations, manage software development initiatives, lead cross-functional projects, and ensure smooth system integrations. You will collaborate with product and executive teams, drive innovation, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
· MS or PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field(s)
· Management/leadership experience with high performing teams in a medical device startup company
· Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design; familiarity or experience in mechanical design and testing processes
· Proficiency in C or C and deep knowledge of computer architecture, network, and embedded devices and systems
· Experience with one or more of the deep learning toolkits, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc. on edge devices such as Jetson, etc.
· Knowledge of Deep Learning (and preferably Computer Vision algorithms including gesture, limb/hand position detection, face detection/recognition).
· Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
· Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate highly technical data to various stakeholders
· Ability to prioritize and strategize in a variety of project areas and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
