Neutral Ground Lounge is a small, independent restaurant and lounge in Arcadia serving seasonally inspired food, thoughtful cocktails, and wine in a relaxed setting.
We’re looking for an experienced bartender to join our small front-of-house team for Friday and Saturday nights, growing into a Thursday shift as well.
This is not a job where you stay behind the bar all night.
We operate as a full tip-pool house and work as one team. On any given night, that means making drinks, greeting guests, running food, clearing and resetting tables, helping another server, polishing glassware, or jumping in wherever the room needs you.
Our FOH team is small, typically just a few people working together with ownership, so being a great teammate is every bit as important as being a great bartender.
Compensation
$15/hour pooled tips
All front-of-house employees participate in the tip pool.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong bartending experience, preferably in a cocktail-driven restaurant or bar
- Solid knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits
- Genuine hospitality and an ability to connect with guests
- Willingness to get out from behind the bar and help throughout the restaurant
- Comfortable running food, bussing, resetting tables, greeting guests, and supporting the team
- Clean, organized, and dependable
- Someone who communicates well and contributes positively to the culture
- No ego about whose job something is
We’re not an overly regimented restaurant. We’re an independent local business with a small team, and we care about taking care of people, both our guests and each other.
Being good with guests matters. Being someone your teammates want to work next to matters just as much.
Schedule
Friday & Saturday evenings
Thursday evenings as business grows.
Neutral Ground is open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday.
