Responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and closeout of commercial low voltage and data center projects. This role ensures assigned projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements, technical standards, and safety policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Support and manage project execution from award through closeout for commercial low voltage and data center projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules, project parameters, budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking tools to support efficient project delivery and cost control.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives to support project objectives, scope alignment, and timely execution.
- Participate in and, when assigned, lead Owner, Architect, and Contractor (OAC) meetings, coordination meetings, and internal project meetings, including preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, and action item tracking.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and consultants during pre-construction and design phases to support constructability reviews, scope coordination, and issue resolution.
- Review and interpret contract documents, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, and change management requirements, and escalate potential risks or discrepancies as appropriate.
- Support project estimating activities, billing preparation, and financial documentation, including labor and material tracking, to ensure accurate reporting and cost control.
- Prepare, review, and support the submission and documentation of change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other required project documentation in coordination with the Program Manager and project stakeholders.
- Track and measure project performance, progress, and key milestones, and assist in identifying and addressing issues related to schedule, cost, scope, quality, or risk.
- Document project activities, challenges, costs, and results to support reporting, audits, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance with company safety programs, quality standards, and client-specific requirements, and coordinate with field leadership to address safety or quality concerns.
- Assist with project closeout activities, including as-built documentation, testing, labeling, certification, and final project deliverables.
- Act as a primary point of communication for assigned projects by distributing information, coordinating updates, responding to routine project inquiries, and supporting effective collaboration among project stakeholders.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience supporting or managing data/telecom, low-voltage or construction projects.
- Education or technical training in Telecommunications, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with project management and construction coordination platforms (Procore, Autodesk, or similar)
- Working knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and data center infrastructure (preferred).

CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)
- OSHA 30
- BICSI (Installer, Technician or RTPM)
- Manufacturer or vendor-specific certifications related to low voltage or data center systems
- CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or equivalent project management training.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Hybrid office and field-based position.
- Regular job site visits, site walks, and coordination meetings.
- Exposure to active construction sites and data center environments.
- Travel to project sites as required, which may include regional travel.
