Position Summary: The individual seeking this position will be responsible for understanding how to perform Neurotech EEG Set Ups, EEG Scanning and Remote Monitoring functions. Considered a plus if candidate is experienced working with EPs, has worked with multiple EEG equipment (Xltek, Nihon Kohden, etc…). Ideal candidate will possess outstanding organization, communication, trouble shooting, and customer service skills, be a team player, maintain confidentiality, and be comfortable working with technology.
Technologist responsibilities include :
- Driving to patient homes or physician offices to conduct EEG studies
- Conducting EEG hookups using 10/20 system
- Conducting EEG hookups at patient’s residence
- Taking an accurate and detailed patient history
- Clipping and scanning EEG studies
- Cleaning and sterilizing EEG equipment
- Remotely monitoring patients to verify quality of EEG
- Troubleshooting equipment or patient issues, as necessary
- Participating in on-call rotation and/or working occasional weekends
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time. Specific schedule can be discussed with candidate. Our normal days/hours of operation are Monday thru Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Schedule would include participating in on-call coverage rotation (M-F 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Sat/Sun 8:00 am to 2:00 pm).
Hourly wage: $22.00 to $27.00 (depending on experience and credentials). Wage for being on-call is $3.50/hour Mon-Thurs, $5.55/hour Fri/Sat/Sun.
