Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a TMS Technician based in Greenwich, CT. The TMS Technician will administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments to patients under the supervision of a physician. Responsibilities include preparing and educating patients, operating TMS equipment, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. The technician will also assist in assessing patient progress and communicate effectively with both patients and the care team to provide high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Experience with TMS or related technologies, familiarity with patient-focused treatment equipment, and technical proficiency in medical device operation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an empathetic approach and ability to support patients during treatment.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team, following protocols and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and care standards.
- Prior experience in mental health care, neuroscience, or a healthcare-related field is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification as a Medical Assistant, EEG Technician, or similar role is advantageous.
