Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated controller to strengthen and lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in financial auditing, possess a strong foundation in corporate finance, and have adept skills in managing journal entries. Candidates should have a robust background in overseeing and managing NeuroSync's finance and accounting efforts including our financial statements, planning, bank account reconciliations, managing bank reconciliations, handling business taxes, and performing account analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily accounting functions, including the generation of journal entries and the preparation of financial statements as part of the leadership team.
- Supervise accounts receivable processes and spearhead collections efforts.
- Perform comprehensive account and bank reconciliations.
- Utilize Excel for advanced financial planning analysis and forecasting to aid in executive decision-making.
- Lead financial audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- This position requires physical presence in the Holliston, MA office from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have at least 7 years of accounting experience and have been a financial controller.
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate accounting principles and proficiency in financial auditing.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Effective at account analysis and reconciliation processes.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master’s/MBA encouraged.
Compensation: $90,000-$125,000 including bonus and strong equity
