What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time EVS Facilities Attendant position at Neurosurgical & Spine Institute of Savannah?

Shift: 5:30p - 8:30p
Key Duties:
- Perform terminal cleaning to support the specialized cleaning needs of our imaging and ASC clinical areas.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment of care for patients, guests and staff.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing both clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Ensure compliance with environmental service standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
- Dispose of waste and hazardous materials properly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure campus safety.
- Assists the Facilities Supervisor, when directed, as a point of contact for onsite vendors.
- Provides support for special events, as needed, including set up and breakdown.
- Assists the Facilities Supervisor with maintaining and updating OSHA and emergency preparedness resources to ensure accessibility as directed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, and provide ongoing support to the part-time evening EVS team members.
Requirements:
- Experience in terminal cleaning, terminal disinfection, or discharge cleaning, in a hospital or healthcare setting - Preferred
- Must be available to work a shift from 5:30p - 8:30p
Key Skills:
- Experience leading teams and acting as the primary liaison in professional cleaning settings, preferred.
- Comfortable interfacing with patients and guests.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with environmental services regulations and OSHA standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects, if required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
