Part-Time EVS Facilities Attendant

At the Neurosurgical & Spine Institute of Savannah, we offer a broad range of compassionate treatment options to help patients get timely and effective care. We are looking for a team member with a passion for creating and maintaining a clean and safe environment of care for our patients, staff and guests.

Shift: 5:30p - 8:30p

Key Duties:

• Perform terminal cleaning to support the specialized cleaning needs of our imaging and ASC clinical areas.
• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment of care for patients, guests and staff.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing both clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Ensure compliance with environmental service standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials properly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure campus safety.
• Assists the Facilities Supervisor, when directed, as a point of contact for onsite vendors.
• Provides support for special events, as needed, including set up and breakdown.
• Assists the Facilities Supervisor with maintaining and updating OSHA and emergency preparedness resources to ensure accessibility as directed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, and provide ongoing support to the part-time evening EVS team members.

Requirements:

• Experience in terminal cleaning, terminal disinfection, or discharge cleaning, in a hospital or healthcare setting - Preferred
• Must be available to work a shift from 5:30p - 8:30p

Key Skills:

• Experience leading teams and acting as the primary liaison in professional cleaning settings, preferred.
• Comfortable interfacing with patients and guests.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
• Familiarity with environmental services regulations and OSHA standards.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects, if required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
