Overview
We are seeking a part time skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties
- Perform various imaging procedures including X-rays and fluoroscopy.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to radiation exposure.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiology techniques, including X-Ray and fluoroscopy.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols as they relate to imaging services.
- Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment effectively.
