Role Description: The Marketing Intern will support day-to-day marketing activities that promote NCMA’s services and strengthen brand awareness. This is an unpaid part-time, hybrid role based in the Rockport, ME, Auburn, ME, and Rochester, NH Areas and involves assisting with the creation and scheduling of digital content, including social media posts, and basic website updates, as well as B2B outreach to local offices via phone and email. The Marketing Intern will help with short-form video production and editing as well as basic content creation with platforms like Canva. This role may also conduct market research on local healthcare providers, referral sources, and community organizations to identify outreach opportunities. Daily responsibilities include supporting marketing strategy execution, organizing promotional materials, tracking campaign and engagement metrics, and preparing simple reports for the team. The Marketing Intern will also collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure that messaging is accurate, accessible, and aligned with NCMA’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
- Strong Communication skills to interact professionally with referral partners and internal team members.
- Basic Sales and relationship-building abilities to assist with referral development and community engagement initiatives.
- Interest in healthcare, mental health, or neuropsychology, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear, accessible way.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with common digital tools (e.g., social media platforms, basic video editing and content creation, basic analytics dashboards, and standard office software).
- Ability to work on-site when needed, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
