Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Position Location: Neuropathy Treatment Clinic of Oklahoma

Shift Type

• Full-Time
• M-TH 7:00 am-4:30 pm
• Fridays off
• No weekends or major holidays

Summary: The CNA position is a hands-on, patient-focused role that supports the daily delivery of specialized treatments following instruction of the providers. This is a vital role working four days a week, ensuring treatment accuracy, patient comfort, and seamless clinical support throughout the care process. Full on the job training provided

Responsibilities

• Administer application of electrodes using specialized medical equipment, monitor patients during treatment, adjusting dosage and troubleshooting machines. And ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and document results accurately.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful care and educate patients on treatment expectations.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers using proper techniques and assistive devices.
• Assist with assessments and record patient vitals.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
• Uphold infection control standards and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Participate in ongoing training related to treatment modalities.
  
  

Requirements

• Have an CNA, MA, or CMA or other certification authorized to assist with patient transfers in the state of Oklahoma
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, for prolonged periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and become clinically competent in advanced therapy technology
