Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth & Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with D evelopmental and Intellectual Disabilities.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Therapists to provide In-home Intensive and In-Community Therapeutic services to youth throughout the state of New Jersey.
*Key Responsibilities *:
- Providing individual in-home therapy sessions or group therapy sessions in our outpatient center.
- Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
- Submit all required documentation within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, progress notes), etc.
- Attend monthly meetings and submit recommendations.
Requirements
- Must have Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related fields as LSW, LAC, LFT.
- Must be available for minimum 5-10 hours per week during after school hours of 4-7 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
- Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus.
- Must have Valid driver’s license, registered vehicle.
- Must pass criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with copy of NJ or Certification or License.
Compensation:
$75 per hour
Licensed Social Worker- LSW
Licensed Associate Counselor-LAC
Licensed Family Therapist- LFT
