Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Certified Phlebotomy Technician located in Katy, TX. The technician will be responsible for performing venipuncture procedures, collecting and processing laboratory specimens, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to laboratory standards. Providing excellent customer service to trial participants is a key aspect of this role. Other responsibilities include ensuring the proper use of medical terminology and assisting with tasks related to laboratory medicine.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Venipuncture and Laboratory Skills
- Understanding of Medical Terminology and Laboratory Medicine
- Strong Customer Service skills and experience interacting with patients
- Ability to adhere to clinical and laboratory standards
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification
- Previous experience in a clinical or research setting is a plus
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle patient information with confidentiality
