What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Office Insurance Authorization Coordinator position at Neurology of the Rockies?
Neurology of the Rockies is looking to add an Insurance Authorization Coordinator to our growing team! Ideal candidate will be very detail oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
This position is full time. We offer competitive pay. Our full-time employees are offered medical, vision and dental insurance, 4% matching 401k and paid time off. We promote healthy work/life balance with annual company sponsored team building events.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Obtaining authorization for specialty medication
- Ordering medication through specialty pharmacies
- Tracking inventory of medication supply
- Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility
- Discussing patient financial responsibility and collecting monies owed
- Scheduling appointments
