Position Summary
The Executive Director serves as the chief operational leader of the clinic. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall success of the business, including financial performance, clinical operations, human resources, regulatory compliance, and community outreach. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level strategic planning and day-to-day administrative excellence, ensuring that our clinic remains a leader in neurological healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to expand clinic capacity, service lines, and market presence.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including patient flow, scheduling efficiency, facility management, and administrative workflows.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the annual budget, P&L responsibility, revenue cycle management (RCM), and cost-control initiatives to ensure financial sustainability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team; foster a high-performing culture focused on patient-centered care and staff retention.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure full adherence to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, state health department) and lead accreditation/quality improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the clinic, physicians, hospital partners, insurance providers, and the community.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of senior management experience in a healthcare
setting; outpatient neurology or multi-specialty group experience is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) strongly preferred.
- Financial Acumen: Proven success in budget management, financial forecasting, and optimizing revenue cycle processes.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead change, resolve conflicts, and inspire professional teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) and practice management software.
