Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for either a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Neurologic Associates of Cape Girardeau, Inc., located in Cape Girardeau, MO. The selected candidate will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, such as preparing treatment rooms, taking patient histories, recording vital signs, assisting with procedures, administering medications, coordinating appointments, managing medical records, and maintaining a sanitary environment. The role also involves providing excellent patient care and communication.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing hands-on patient care
- Experience maintaining and organizing medical records and appointment schedules
- Ability to assist in medical procedures and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
- LPN certification or relevant Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of neurology or experience with neurological patients is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to adhere to medical protocols and procedures
