NueroLimits LLC, located in Westlake Austin, Texas, is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. This position includes conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and family therapy both in-clinic and through telehealth. The clinician will work with clients presenting with ADHD, Autism, PTSD, performance-related stress, academic challenges, emotional dysregulation, and general mental health concerns.
This role follows a hybrid schedule of 3 in-clinic days and 2 remote days per week. LPC Associates are also welcome to apply and will be supervised by a fully licensed psychologist.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments for clients with a range of mental health and neurodevelopmental needs.
- Develop treatment plans using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, somatic interventions, and skills-based approaches.
- Provide ongoing therapy to support emotional regulation, focus, stress management, and overall psychological well-being.
- Deliver interventions for clients experiencing burnout, anxiety, academic or career stress, perfectionism, trauma responses, and behavioral challenges.
- Provide developmentally appropriate interventions for neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Offer academic and career-focused counseling when needed, including support with motivation, planning, and performance barriers.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation consistent with clinical and ICD diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with supervising psychologists, neuropsychology partners, and referring providers to coordinate client care.
- Provide services 3 days in-clinic and 2 days remotely based on client scheduling and program needs.
- Deliver effective telehealth sessions and adjust interventions appropriately for virtual care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and remain current on evidence-based practices related to ADHD, trauma, autism, performance psychology, and general mental health treatment.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the State of Texas or LPC Associate license under required supervision.
- Experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, or adults in an outpatient or similar setting.
- Working knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, solution-focused interventions, skills-based therapy).
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and apply ICD diagnostic standards.
- Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and ethical guidelines for clinical practice.
- Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth sessions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, trauma, mood disorders, or high-performing/achievement-oriented clients.
- Background or interest in neuropsychology, executive-function interventions, or performance-based counseling.
- Experience supporting academic planning, college readiness, or career transitions.
- Experience working with athletes or individuals in high-pressure roles.
- Prior experience using electronic health records (EHR) for documentation.
- Familiarity with somatic regulation, emotional regulation techniques, or integrative therapeutic approaches.
Compensation
$25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
