Neurodiversity in the Workplace is a national non-profit partnering with a financial services company for a neurodiversity hiring event for a full-time, hybrid role. The goal of the Neurodiversity Hiring Program is to build an inclusive, skill-based hiring approach that recognizes and embraces the strengths of a neurodiverse talent pool. Neurodiversity encompasses a wide range of cognitive differences, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia & OCD.
DESCRIPTION:
This role involves developing and maintaining large operational data sets within the overall architecture used for major upstream and downstream deliverables, including creating, administering, and structuring them. This role requires proven experience creating dynamic, stable, repeatable, and reliable data infrastructures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Designs, develops, and/or repairs logic that creates moderately complex data sets in support of operational reporting, metrics, automation, and efficiency projects. Organizes, stores, and analyzes data with attention to security and confidentiality.
- Performs key portions of the data development lifecycle, including designing, coding, testing, documenting, installing, maintaining, and supporting proprietary and/or purchased software systems/applications. Performs unit and performance testing on code and documents findings within the defined scope.
- Partners with Operational leaders to define the needed scope, including ongoing maintenance and enhancements. Completes moderately complex project tasks within defined milestones. May lead or manage projects.
- Ensure all processes and procedures needed in support of the operational reporting systems are kept up to date. When new procedures are required, champions the effort to create and ensure they are accurate and accessible to all applicable parties. May train and mentor less experienced staff. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in data management and analysis (5 years).
- Experience with Linux Configuration, SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Python, SAS, PLSQL, tSQL and/or other languages used to support big data applications.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc).
