About the Job:
You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with clinic notes, placing orders, and reviewing medical records. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, thrive in a busy setting, and efficiently complete charts.
Specifics:
- Schedule: 4-5 days a week, 8 AM - 6 PM.
- Locations: Must be able to cover clinics in Long Island, Brooklyn, Staten Island.
Responsibilities:
- See consults and follow-ups.
- Obtain and record patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Coordinate daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork requested by insurance or patients’ workplaces.
- Finish all clinical notes with accuracy.
- Assist with patient call-backs and developing treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Speed and accuracy in documentation and history taking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Fluency in English.
- Prior experience in taking medical histories, scribing encounters, and completing medical documentation is preferred.
- Must be legally allowed to work in New York State (e.g., active work visa).
