Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, compassionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health counseling and therapy services to diverse populations, including children and adults with various behavioral and developmental needs. This role is ideal for professionals looking to expand their practice, support diverse client needs, and contribute to a mission-driven team all on a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate has experience providing therapy to neurodivergent children, adolescents, and/or adults, including individuals with autism, ADHD, and related neurodevelopmental differences.
As a 1099 Therapist with NBA, you will provide therapeutic services aligned with our clinical standards while maintaining autonomy in your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and/or group therapy services to clients
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and treatment planning
- Experience providing parent training
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members as needed
- Uphold NBA’s standards for ethical, client-focused care
- Participate in required trainings and meetings
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a licensed therapist (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD), or equivalent.
- Current liability insurance
- Experience with clinical documentation and electronic records
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, evidence-based practice
- Experience providing therapeutic services to neurodivergent clients, including individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and related neurodevelopmental differences.
- Background in strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming care for neurodivergent individuals.
