Our unit is acute stroke and neurosurgery, patients are monitored, TPA patients, non-intubated IR thrombectomies.
Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Rapid Response and IVT Team, Code System.
Nurses are critical care trained with tPA training (tissue type plasminogen activator which requires close monitoring and scheduled neuro checks and NIHSS Stroke Certification.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also, the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Two (2) years RN experience
- Must meet or exceed customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect
