Neumann University is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Enrollment. This position reports directly to the President of the University. The Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Enrollment serves as the leader for Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid. This position provides senior level leadership and management in the administration of a comprehensive range of services, policies, and procedures related to enrollment management’s strategic and annual planning, supervision and evaluation of all undergraduate and financial aid personnel, policies, services, and programs. The AVPUGE works closely with Executive Team and participates in all UG admissions aspects of institution-wide planning in support of the mission and goals of the University.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Senior leadership, supervision and assessment of all undergraduate admissions and financial aid
- Develop, maintain, assess, and update the University’s Strategic Undergraduate Enrollment Plan in conjunction with the President and Executive Team
- Develop, implement, and manage admissions and financial aid to meet student UG enrollment goals in support of the educational and financial plan of the University
- Collaborate with the University’s marketing program in support of student recruitment
- Achieve the UG enrollment goals or objectives of the University as projected
- Work collaboratively with all members of the University community and especially Academic Affairs, Athletics, Student Affairs, and Finance & Administration to implement academic and student development goals, initiatives, standards, policies and procedures to achieve enrollment goals
- Encourage, facilitate and support cooperation and effective communication within and among UG enrollment management and the team
- Manage the fiscal and personnel needs of the department
- Develop and monitor the department budget
- Ensure that all admissions and financial aid operations are conducted in accordance with federal, state, local, NCAA, and athletic conference regulations and procedures
- Participate in professional and community organizations
- Prepare a comprehensive department annual report to the President
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree required. Master’s or doctorate preferred
- Senior level enrollment experience in higher education; proven progressive experience and responsibilities
- Ability to express complex ideas in a coherent, articulate and persuasive manner to various campus constituencies
- Full range of quantitative and qualitative skills necessary for a senior enrollment management level
- Ability to think strategically while applying principles of logic, scientific reasoning and problem solving to a wide range of intellectual, practical and interpersonal problems
- Ability to lead, work collaboratively, to motivate, and to reflect the core values of the University in all interactions with internal and external constituencies
- Experience in student information systems and the use of technology in the recruitment/admissions/financial aid office environment
- Flexibility and stamina to work in highly competitive situations
- Interest in values-based organization and models of work environments
- Understanding of and commitment to Catholic Higher Education
