What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner | Family Practice position at NeuLine?
We are seeking a Part-Time or PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our Family Practice clinic in the Celina or Frisco, TX areas. This opening is on Mondays & Wednesdays of each week. Additional PRN days/hours are available in our McKinney Texas clinic.
Our mission is to provide patients with the best healthcare experience in a welcoming family practice setting. Our provider will effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional patient care. This includes but is not limited to evaluations and management, assessments, laboratory testing, and educating patients. Our provider will also engage in frequent and ongoing communication with our Medical Director, while directly reporting to our Executive Director.
POSITION SUMMARY
- Function as a key contributor in the clinic
- Autonomy to work independently with the close support of a medical director
- Obtain an adequate patient history and perform appropriate physical examinations
- Order pertinent laboratory test as needed based on the evaluation
- Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary
- Demonstrate appropriate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluations
- Build and cultivate daily relationships with patients, staff, and senior leadership
- Set priorities according to patient needs and formulate a plans of care
- Perform ongoing assessment and revise plan of care based on new data and patient's condition
- Review and uphold clinic and lab policies and procedures
- Collaborate with health team members to ensure the patient's well being
- Educate patient/significant other according to appropriate health information in a timely manner and share written informational material
- Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe clinical environment for patients and staff according to policies and procedures
- Demonstrate safe techniques in the use of equipment according to specific product information
- Maintain all required professional certifications and licenses
- Participate in any and all certification of the facility and CEU
- Adhere to administrative system/nursing service policies
- Comply with specific system/division/unit policy and procedure concerning safety
- Complete all clinical and lab education accordingly
SCHEDULE:
- Part-Time Position
- Monday and Wednesdays - Daytime Hours. (Celina, TX)
- Flexible PRN Hours. (Celina or McKinney, TX)
