Description of the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Neulife Rehabilitation of Florida as a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of our experienced Physical Therapists to support and assist in providing rehabilitation services to our patients. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans for patients, as prescribed by the Physical Therapists
• Provide hands-on therapy treatments and exercises under the guidance of the Physical Therapists
• Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing exercises at home
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of therapy equipment and treatment areas

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients
