About the Role
Neuhaus Foot & Ankle is seeking a Tennessee-licensed Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in one of our thriving Middle Tennessee clinics.
This role will involve surgical and non-surgical care, including advanced wound care, trauma management, and biomechanical treatments. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
As a Podiatric Physician at Neuhaus Foot & Ankle, you will:
Provide comprehensive podiatric services in a clinic setting and maintain hospital staff privileges as required
Evaluate patients’ lower extremity concerns through physical exams, medical history review, and diagnostic testing
Develop and implement treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventions
Provide wound care, trauma management, and preventive at-risk foot care
Perform surgical services aligned with your scope, training, and experience
Educate patients and families on foot health, prevention, wellness care, and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation per state and NFA standards
Prescribe medications and order imaging or labs as permitted by Tennessee law
Participate in continuing education and stay current with best practices
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree with appropriate certification and licensure
Active Tennessee podiatry license, or ability to obtain within required timeframe
Board Qualified or Board Certified by ABPM (American Board of Podiatric Medicine) and/or ABFAS (American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery)
Strong compassion for patients and their families, with excellent bedside manner
DEA registration (or eligibility) required
Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and care teams
