NETZSCH Pumps USA is an internationally operated technology company with US locations in Houston, TX and Exton, PA. NETZSCH is the world market leader for Progressing Cavity Pumps that are used in a variety of industrial applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Verifies vendor material and quantity receipts match NTP purchases orders.
- Routes material to storage locations or work-in-process destinations.
- Marks and locates stock physically and in SAP.
- Receives vendor material electronically into SAP.
- Issues vendor material delivered directly to WIP into SAP.
- Distributes stock among production workers by pulling kit lists or manual requisitions.
- Distributes stock to Shipping to satisfy customer sales order requirements.
- Assists in perpetual inventory of stock (cycle counting).
- Moves or transports material to other departments.
- Verifies material and quantity to be packed with delivery notes or work order documentation.
- Skids, boxes, wraps and packs material to prevent transit damage.
- Attaches appropriate marking or destination shipping labels.
- Tracks and communicates necessary shipping information through email and Teams.
- Enters relevant shipping data on UPS manifest system or bill of lading.
- Operate fork truck and overhead crane.
- Executes other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months related experience and/or training; previous experience operating a forklift and crane is preferred. Ability to build crates using standard wood working equipment. Knowledge of domestic and international shipping practices including customs.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to log on/off a computer, enter data in SAP, receive/send electronic e-mail, enter Excel spreadsheet data.
- CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid driver’s license.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
