What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fractional People Operations Manager position at Networx Systems Inc?
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Time Tracking: Monitor PTO/sick leave and assist leadership with accurate payroll processing.
- Lifecycle Management: Facilitate smooth onboarding (offer letters, system setup) and offboarding processes (e.g. severance agreements, unemployment claims).
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with employment regulations (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, I-9, ACA, DBL) and manage disciplinary/investigative procedures.
- HR Administration & Culture: Maintain employee records, coordinate internal communications, boost morale and lead employee engagement initiatives.
- Office Management: Take care of our local Atlanta office (order supplies etc) .
- What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
- 3 years of progressive HR or People Operations experience (fractional/consulting experience is a plus).
- Expertise in modern HRIS tools such as Paylocity, Workday, HiBob, Deel, TriNet, or Justworks.
- Solid understanding of multi-state labor laws and leave management requirements.
- Genuine care for people, proactivity and initiative mindset.
- Ability to look at the big picture and go the extra mile.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
