About the Role
Director of Sales for our Wireless Infrastructure / MSP division. Senior leadership role spearheading the revenue strategy for MSP focusing on the sale of infrastructure components such as Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), small cells, fiber, data center solutions, video & security services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. Directing our established sales team in driving revenue growth, expanding market share and establishing strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth: Define and execute regional or national sales strategies setting quotas, and forecasting revenue to meet or exceed annual revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Account Management: Build and maintain C-level relationships with Tier 1 Telecom Carriers (e.g., Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) and key customers.
- Pipeline Management: Overseeing lead generation from inbound marketing, referrals, and networking to drive new business. Implement rigorous forecasting, lead generation, and pipeline management utilizing CRM tools to refine the sales cycle, improving efficiency, and tracking performance metrics.
- Team Leadership: Coach and manage a team of 3 - 5 sales professionals establishing key performance indicators, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Closing Deals: Lead large-scale Request and Proposal response, contract structures, commercial negotiations, and multi-year Key Account Strategies. Negotiate contracts and managing key client relationships, especially for large, long-term deals.
- Solution-Based Selling: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver complex technical solutions (e.g., DAS, Small Cells, IoT).
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: 5–8 years of telecom infrastructure sales experience, with a proven track record of closing multimillion-dollar deals.
- Leadership: 5 years of successful supervisory or management experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Engineering required; or equivalent experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to translate complex IT services into business value for clients. Deep understanding of wireless networks, 5G deployment, DAS, fiber, and site infrastructure.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, consultative selling, executive-level presentation skills, and mentoring skills
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%–60% of the time.
