What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Administrator position at Network Services Group, Inc.?
About the Job.
We’re growing quickly and looking for a talented System Administrator to join our team. You’ll spend your time helping clients with their IT needs, working tickets, solving problems, and communicating directly with people who depend on us.
At NSG we don’t hide behind technical jargon. Our approach is all about relationships. We want to understand our clients’ people, their business, and their goals so we can give them IT support they actually enjoy.
Working with us.
Life at NSG means hard work, celebrating wins together, and still having time outside the office. Culture fit is the most important thing we look for in a new hire. Customer service skills and common sense matter just as much as technical ability.
We know our tech, but we keep things down to earth. Humility, confidence, and a good personality are the keys to serving clients well.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who’s just as comfortable working with people as they are with servers. The right person will enjoy high-pressure situations, handle multiple priorities at once, and thrive both onsite and remotely.
You’ll be working with things like:
- Windows Server and Windows OS
- Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Exchange, DNS, TCP/IP
- Firewalls, VPNs, and Managed Switches (L2/L3)
- Malware troubleshooting
- Dell and HP servers and workstations
- Multi-server environments and migrations
Experience we’d love to see:
- 2 years in network engineering or IT consulting
- Proven success with Windows-based servers, migrations, and new builds
- Strong Microsoft Server and Terminal Server skills
If terms like TCP/IP, port forwarding, or VPNs make you nervous, this probably isn’t the role for you.
Benefits
- Medical Insurance
- 401K - Matching
- Unlimited Vacation and Sick Time
- Vacation Bonus
- Gym Membership
- Working with a team that cares :)
- We like to eat!

- Anything else that shows us why you’re the right fit
We want to see who you really are, not just where you’ve worked. Tell us something memorable. And don’t forget to include your favorite pizza toppings.
