Overview
Network Interiors is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial interior construction projects, with a focus on metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and prefabricated interior systems. This role works closely with Project Managers, Estimators, field leadership, and subcontractors to support successful execution from preconstruction through project closeout.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced subcontractor environment where attention to detail, communication, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts is essential.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in the execution of commercial interiors projects
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation using Procore and related platforms
- Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and trade communication
- Support change order tracking, scope alignment, and cost tracking
- Work closely with field teams, subcontractors, and estimators to ensure smooth project delivery
- Gain exposure to estimating, bid support, and preconstruction workflows
Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in construction, ideally interiors, framing, drywall, or commercial subcontracting
- Exposure to project coordination, estimating, field engineering, or assistant PM responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Interest in learning prefabrication and advanced interior systems construction
