General Manager

About the Company

Network Imaging Systems specializes in the service, support, installation, and relocation of MRI and CT imaging equipment. We are a growing, ISO 9001-certified company seeking a hands-on General Manager to help oversee daily business operations, customer support, inventory and purchasing activities, project coordination, and operational growth initiatives.

This position is ideal for someone who has worked in an equipment, parts, inventory, manufacturing, industrial, automotive, technical service, or distribution environment and understands the operational demands of supporting customers, managing vendors, tracking inventory, coordinating projects, and driving business performance.

What We're Looking For

We are not seeking a traditional accounting professional, hospitality manager, restaurant manager, or retail manager.

We are looking for an operations-focused leader with experience in parts and inventory management, purchasing and vendor management, customer invoicing and order processing, service operations and project coordination, KPI development and performance reporting, forecasting and business planning, customer relationship management, and equipment, service, distribution, manufacturing, or technical operations.

The ideal candidate understands how products, parts, purchase orders, inventory, customer invoices, vendors, and service projects work together to support a successful operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support daily business operations
  • Coordinate activities between customers, vendors, service technicians, and management
  • Improve workflows and operational efficiency
  • Develop, track, and report on KPIs
  • Assist ownership with forecasting and operational decision-making
  • Coordinate purchasing activities and vendor relationships
  • Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control processes
  • Track parts orders and ensure timely fulfillment
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers
  • Support sales activities and customer follow-up
  • Oversee customer invoicing and accounts receivable follow-up
  • Support and maintain ISO 9001 quality processes

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in operations management, service operations, inventory management, purchasing, project coordination, or business administration
  • Experience in medical equipment, industrial equipment, manufacturing, distribution, automotive, HVAC, construction equipment, technical service organizations, or other parts and inventory-based businesses
  • Experience managing purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Experience with customer invoicing and accounts receivable processes
  • Experience developing KPIs and operational reporting
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and CRM systems

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be strongly considered.

Additional Information

  • Full-time, exempt position

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
