As a Donation Support Services Coordinator, you'll be a vital member of our 24/7 mission-driven response team. You are often the first connection between hospitals, clinical partners, and families during critical moments.
In This Role, You Will
- Answer time-sensitive referral calls from hospitals and healthcare partners
- Evaluate potential organ, tissue, and eye donor referrals in real time
- Compassionately guide donor families through tissue and eye donation discussions
- Obtain authorization and ensure accurate, compliant documentation
- Coordinate logistics across clinical teams
- Track and document critical information with speed and precision
What Sets You Apart

- A strong communicator with excellent critical thinking skills
- Comfortable navigating sensitive conversations
- Experienced in a related field
- Open to weekends and holidays
- Motivated by serving others - especially during life's most difficult moments
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree, medical certification, or post-secondary education strongly preferred.
- Experience in call center, dispatch (EMS), social work, nursing, medical assisting, or similar fast-paced environments preferred.
- Strong typing and data entry skills.
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, especially critical care is required.
- Medical Assistant, LPN, or similar healthcare credential is helpful but not required.
