Medical Clinic is in need of a Front Desk Reactionist
Monday Through Friday 9am-5pm
A Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling phone calls, and supporting the administrative operations of a healthcare office.
Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
Check patients in and out and verify demographic and insurance information.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient questions.
Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments.
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations when required.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system.
Handle referrals, medical forms, and other administrative paperwork.
Communicate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacies, and insurance companies as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
Scan, fax, file, and organize medical documents.
Assist with daily office operations and maintain an organized, welcoming reception area.
Provide excellent customer service while handling sensitive or confidential patient information.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous medical office, receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures is helpful.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare environment.

Ability to protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA regulations.
