Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our psychology practice. Ideally we are looking for someone who wants to acquire their hours for their LCSW. You will provide individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapy (if desired).

This position offers comprehensive supervision including weekly individual supervision, didactics training, and monthly group supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual counseling utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and evidence-based practices.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management protocols, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology standards, and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems proficiently.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in a mental health setting.
- Strong background in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, etc.
- Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10) for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies under HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
