Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse infrastructure and ETL solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and strategic decision-making.
This role requires strong expertise in Informatica, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and modern data engineering practices. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
ETL Development & Data Integration
- Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL workflows using Informatica.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Implement automated validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop Python scripts and APIs for automation, data processing, and system integration.
- Support enterprise-wide data integration initiatives.
Data Warehouse Design & Optimization
- Design and maintain scalable data warehouse structures including schemas, tables, views, and materialized views.
- Optimize performance through query tuning, clustering strategies, and partitioning techniques.
- Apply best practices in data modeling and data architecture.
- Utilize advanced Snowflake capabilities including:
- Time Travel
- Zero-Copy Cloning
- Data Sharing
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance across data platforms.
Business Intelligence Support
- Provide advanced support for business intelligence and reporting platforms.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex data and reporting issues.
- Develop and support reports and dashboards using Power BI and Cognos.
- Ensure data accuracy, usability, and accessibility for business users.
Data Pipeline Development & API Integration
- Design and implement scalable modern data pipelines.
- Build Python-based ingestion and transformation solutions.
- Develop and maintain API and web service integrations.
- Leverage Snowflake capabilities such as:
- Snowpipe
- Streams
- Tasks
- External Functions
- Support reliable data processing within a 24/7 enterprise environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 8–20 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and database management.
- Strong expertise with:
- Informatica
- Snowflake
- SQL
- Power BI
- Cognos
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, administration, and optimization.
- Experience using Python for data engineering and automation.
- Knowledge of API development and enterprise system integrations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced SQL and relational database expertise.
