Requirements
Experience:
Manufacturing lab experience over purely clinical
GMP/Good Documentation Practices (GDP/GMP knowledge)
PCR/qPCR experience preferred; alternative analytical or quantitative lab skills acceptable if manufacturing experience exists
Experience with cloning is a plus
Experience Level:
2 to 4 years of experience
Education:
Bachelor''''s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related fields
Candidate Considerations:
Candidates without direct PCR experience may be considered if they have scientific manufacturing or regulated lab background
Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills necessary for non-routine lab issues
Role Overview
Primary Focus: Hands-on work in wet lab environment, manufacturing different bulk bio reagents (buffers, primers, DNA/RNA products)
Main Product: Quantitative PCR (qPCR) reagents; some endpoint PCR
Tasks Include:
Manufacturing bulk reagents
Quality control (QC) testing
DNA purifications and quantifications
Troubleshooting lab processes
Accurate pipetting and documentation
