Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations and maintenance of a data center network.
• Work with routing and switching technologies commonly implemented in data center networks, including:
• • EVPN
  • Multicast
  • OSPF
  • BGP
  • RSVP
  • LDP
  • Pseudowires
  • L2VPN
  • L3VPN
  • MPLS Traffic Engineering (TE)
  • Routing Policies
  • GRE
  • VXLAN
  • Associated tunneling technologies
• Support Juniper products including:
• • QFX
  • MX
  • EX
  • SRX
• Troubleshoot equipment and network problems.
• Open and track JTAC cases through resolution.
• Communicate case status updates and provide root-cause analysis.
• Work with customer engineers and JTAC to resolve hardware/software issues and implement solutions.
• Support formal and informal technology briefings and training sessions.
• Prioritize work activities to achieve customer and account-team goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve network design and operations.

Desired Qualifications

• Engineering design/architecture, operational, and support experience in a medium-to-large-scale data center network.
• Juniper and/or other vendor certifications are a strong plus.
• Automation and DevOps knowledge is a plus.

Mandatory Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required.
TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required.
Full-time onsite at a customer location in the Columbia/Fort Meade area.
