Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee HR processes and procedures for all locations in which Netrush has employees.
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including processing deductions, wage garnishments, gathering appropriate signatures, and applying all applicable changes.
- Complete post-payroll processes such as journal entries and benefit remittance files
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices to maintain compliance.
- Provides support and guidance to management and other HR staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Conducts regular audits of human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Oversee benefit administration, including open enrollment, new hire enrollment, and COBRA administration in partnership with our broker.
- Work directly with the accounting team to ensure completion of monthly benefits billing audits.
- Conduct or assist with record audits and mandatory reports, which include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, ACA, OSHA, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
- Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include terminations, resignations, and extended leaves of absence.
- Reviews, tracks and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and continuing education.
- Responsible for new hire processing, including background checks and employee eligibility verifications using E-Verify.
- Review and respond to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation when applicable.
- Maintains integrity and confidentiality on all matters.
- Academic degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent, or proven professional experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
- Expert in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with ADP preferred
- Willingness to collaborate on process improvements
- Comfortable with technology - virtual collaborative meetings, adaptable to new software and tools
- The pay range for the position is $25.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on location and experience
