About Netris

Netris is the leading network automation platform for AI clouds. AI is the largest infrastructure buildout in history, and networking is its bottleneck. Netris is the automation and multi-tenancy layer for AI cloud networking, enabling operators to launch GPU clouds in weeks, provision tenants instantly, and maximize GPU utilization. The company experienced 800% ARR growth in the last 12 months, with 45 live GPU cluster deployments globally and growing, and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz. SDN reinvented data center networking, and Netris is doing it for the AI cloud with NAAM: Network Automation, Abstraction, and Multi-Tenancy.

The role

You'll be the first marketing operations hire at Netris, reporting to the CMO. You get to build the system from the ground up: how we capture leads at every show, how we get the conversations that never made it into HubSpot, and how we measure what marketing delivers to pipeline and the Board. It's a hands-on, individual contributor role today. The company is growing fast, and the person who builds this well is the one who grows a team behind it.

Netris runs a heavy event calendar (NVIDIA GTC, partner summits, AI infrastructure shows in the US, Europe, and Asia) alongside webinars, digital, and partner campaigns. You own the system that turns those activities into pipeline you can measure. You build the lead capture system in HubSpot that separates show-originated leads from influenced opportunities, customer meetings, and partner conversations. After every show, you go to each salesperson and executive to capture the leads and conversations from the floor, the dinners, and the side meetings that never made it into HubSpot, and you report which ones were followed up. You build the reporting that shows marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue, from the Board slide down to the individual event, and you help the CMO prepare Board materials. You know demand generation and will set up campaigns as the role grows.

What you'll do

In priority order.

  1. Build the trade show lead capture system. Design the capture forms that maximize qualified leads. Set up badge-scan imports and capture-app integrations into HubSpot with campaign and event attached. Classify every capture: show-originated lead, influenced opportunity, existing customer meeting, or partner conversation. Capture consent at the form for GDPR and CCPA.
  2. Capture what the badge scanner missed. After every show, go to each salesperson and executive individually and get the leads and conversations from the show floor, dinners, partner events, and side meetings that are not yet in HubSpot. Most of the pipeline from a show comes from these conversations, and they are never captured unless someone goes and gets them. Work with the reps daily until every lead, meeting, and opportunity from the show is logged. Own lead routing with Sales Ops, and measure whether each captured lead was followed up, by whom, and how fast. Report it by rep.
  3. Build the marketing measurement system. Implement the attribution model (sourced vs. influenced) in HubSpot so marketing and Sales report from the same numbers. Deliver a per-event report within two weeks of each show and event ROI (cost per lead, meeting, and opportunity) that decides which shows repeat.
  4. Report marketing contribution to the company and the Board. Produce the monthly marketing contribution report. Prepare the marketing section of Board materials with the CMO: pipeline sourced and influenced, funnel conversion, event ROI, and program spend. Rebuild reports when the CEO, CMO, or Sales leadership ask a new question.
  5. Keep the data clean and connected. Own HubSpot data hygiene for marketing: dedup, enrichment, ICP scoring, and the integrations from event, webinar, ad, and web platforms.
  6. Extend the system to webinars and digital. Apply the same capture and measurement to webinar attendees and inbound.
  7. Set up demand generation campaigns as the role grows. Email, paid, webinar, and partner programs, with the HubSpot workflows behind them.

What we’re looking for

  • A trade show lead capture system you built in a CRM, forms included, and the reports it produced.
  • Experience going to individual sales reps and executives after a show to capture the conversations and leads that were not in the CRM, and specific stories of how you got them when people did not volunteer them.
  • A track record of getting sales reps and executives to hand over their conversations, and the tact to keep them on your side while you do it.
  • Reports and dashboards that measured event, webinar, and digital impact on pipeline and revenue, and the decisions they changed.
  • Board or executive reporting on marketing contribution that you helped produce.
  • 5 years in marketing operations at a B2B tech company with a heavy field event program, including 3 years as the primary administrator of HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub (Professional or Enterprise).
  • Marketing operations built or run at a company under 200 people, as the first or only marketing ops person. You stood up HubSpot reporting from scratch with no agency and no implementation team.
  • Daily hands-on work in HubSpot today. If your last two years were spent managing people who did the building, this is not the role.
  • Enough demand generation experience to set up campaigns in HubSpot when asked.
  • A Bay Area location, or close enough to be in Santa Clara and at events regularly.

Preferred qualifications

  • Set up and ran demand generation campaigns yourself: email, paid, webinar, or ABM.
  • Ran partner co-marketing programs or partner-sourced lead tracking.
  • Worked in networking, cloud infrastructure, or AI hardware.
  • Connected HubSpot to badge scanner or booth capture apps, webinar platforms, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, or a BI tool.

Compensation, benefits, logistics

  • Competitive salary  meaningful equity
  • Full time
  • Hybrid
  • Medical, vision, dental, 401(k), disability insurance, flexible PTO
  • Travel to events, roughly 10–20%.
