Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices following established protocols.
• Inspect instruments for damage or wear, ensuring all equipment meets safety and quality standards.
• Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, accurately tracking usage and reordering supplies as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument processing logs, and equipment maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control procedures during all processing activities.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to handling biohazardous materials and chemical disinfectants.
• Stay current with updates in sterile processing standards, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge.
