Director of Emergency Services

We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead a high-performing Emergency Department at a well-established acute care hospital. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily ED operations, driving clinical excellence, improving patient outcomes, and leading a team focused on delivering exceptional emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical and operational functions of the Emergency Department.
- Ensure high standards of patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage staffing, budgeting, productivity, and departmental performance.
- Develop and mentor nursing leaders while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Partner with physicians and executive leadership to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and service line growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department leadership experience in an acute care hospital.
- Experience as an ED Manager or Director is required.
- Strong background in emergency operations, quality improvement, and team leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: up to $129,000/year (based on experience).
- Performance bonus: 17.5% to 26.25% annual incentive.
