Sterile Processing Tech (Manager)
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule: Evenings
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Hours may vary based on department needs)
Salary: $52,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
Sign on bonus: Case by case
Relocation Assistance: Starting at $5,000
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Sterile Processing Tech (Manager) to support and lead our Sterile Processing Department. In this role, you will help oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality sterilization practices, and support a safe and efficient environment for our patients, surgical teams, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department.
- Lead, train, and guide team members to ensure quality and productivity.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and evaluating staff.
- Ensure compliance with sterilization standards, infection control, and quality guidelines.
Qualifications
- Required: Two-Year Surgical Technology Course or CRCST/CSPDT certification
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Required Certifications: CSPDT or IAHCSMM
- Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of OR instruments, aseptic technique, and infection control
