RN MS/TELE

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) team in Syracuse, NY for a 13-week travel or contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical conditions, closely monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.

Pay Range: $60 per Hour

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a Med/Surge Telemetry unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and patient vital signs.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policy standards.

Requirements:

• Active RN License (NY or Compact State, if applicable)
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Med/Surge, Telemetry in Acute Care & Hospital Settings.
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS Certification – American Heart Association (required)
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and manage multiple priorities

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
