Schedule: Full Time | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Varied Days/Hours)
Salary Range: $95,373.14 – $143,059.41

Job Summary
The Clinical Operations Manager, in collaboration with the Technical Director, is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of respiratory therapists across all shifts. This role ensures high standards of respiratory care, supports departmental operations, and assists the Medical Director with responsibilities related to Respiratory Therapy. In the absence of the Technical Director, the Clinical Operations Manager oversees full departmental operations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Adhere to WPH Performance Standards, policies, and professional behaviors.
- Monitor compliance with state/federal regulations and accrediting agency standards.
- Serve as a professional role model and resource for staff.
- Support development and implementation of patient-centered, evidence-based care models.
- Provide performance management and ensure adherence to Respiratory Care Services policies.
- Interact with staff in a fair, timely, and consistent manner.
- Conduct timely and objective performance evaluations with proper documentation.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and encourage the same for staff.
- Promote staff growth by identifying strengths, setting goals, and providing coaching.
- Maintain ongoing visibility and credibility within the respiratory care team.
- Develop, revise, and evaluate protocols, policies, procedures, and care standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- Current and valid New York State Respiratory Therapy License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- BLS certification (AHA).
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification (AHA) — or obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Minimum 5 years of recent acute care respiratory therapy experience.
- Member of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC).
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree.
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) credential.
- CPFT certification.
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Basic management/leadership competencies.
