Emergency Room Manager (RN)
Location: Kansas City, MO 64132
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | No Weekends
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy acute care Emergency Department. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, staff leadership, quality of care, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and patient outcomes while collaborating closely with physicians and hospital leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily Emergency Department operations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
- Oversee departmental budget and operational performance.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (Missouri or Compact).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Emergency Department management experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- ENPC or PALS required upon hire.
- TNCC or ATCN required within one year of hire.
