What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchant Services Sales Agents position at Netevia Platinum?
Netevia Platinum is a fast growing provider of merchant services and payment solutions, helping business accept payments more efficiently while reducing costs. We partner with small and mid-sized businesses across multiple verticals, offering competitive pricing, modern technology, and responsive support.
We are expanding our independent sales organization and seeking motivated 1099 Sales Representatives who want long-term residual income and the freedom to build their own book of business.
What you'll do:
- Prospect and acquire new merchant accounts (SMBs, local business, or targeted verticals)
- Educate business owners on payment processing solutions
- Present pricing and close new accounts
- Build and manage your own pipeline and portfolio
- Maintain merchant relationships to support long-term retention
- Work independently while collaborating with support teams
Who we're looking for:
- Prior experience in merchant services, payments, POS, Saas, or B2b sales, or payroll, HR
- Self-motivated, independent, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable with cold outreach and relationship-based selling
- Strong communication and closing skills
- Ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline
- Existing book of business or referral network is a plus, but willing to train the right person
