Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lessons in both Spanish and English, utilizing effective classroom management strategies to maintain an inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and informal assessments.
- Provide individualized support through tutoring sessions, mentoring, and tailored instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Incorporate principles of literacy education, linguistics, and creative writing to enhance language acquisition and cultural awareness.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and educational initiatives to improve program quality.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral management efforts in accordance with educational policies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development.
- Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and working effectively with students across various age groups.
- Expertise in language instruction for both ESL learners and native Spanish speakers, including literacy education and bilingual education strategies.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms, research methods, and instructional design principles to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, mentoring peers, and collaborating with educational staff.

Pay: $61,695.00 - $101,020.00 per year
