Key Responsibilities Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements. Debug existing software and correct defects. Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features. Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. Develop simple queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories. Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment. Develop web applications and REST APIs using Flask. Write or review software and system documentation. Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries. Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components. Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users/system engineers, and resolving problem areas. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance. Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models. Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs to support scalable modern applications. Leverage Atlassian tools (Confluence, Bitbucket) for agile project management.? Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 7–14+ years of relevant work experience as a Software Engineer in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong customer service and cross-discipline collaboration skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience developing with Flask for web applications and REST APIs. Proficiency in Git. Desired Technical Skills: Python, SQL. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS GovCloud). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Engineering, or relevant technical/analytics discipline. Certifications: Required: TS/SCI clearance. Desired: Active Full Scope Polygraph, Data Engineer certification. Preferred: AWS certifications.
